Tyler Hamel, DC

Dr. Tyler Hamel grew up in Vancouer, BC Canada. He then left home to take advantage of a handball scholarship at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield Missouri. In the fall of 1996, Dr. Hamel then chose Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic; receiving his degree in December 1999.

Since Dr. Hamel was 9 years old he has been an avid handball player; he turned professional in 1993 and continues to be competitive today. Dr. Hamel has enjoyed playing handball all over the world, has developed many lasting friendships and always seems to settle down in a handball playing town.

Dr. Hamel enjoyed working as an associate at Koala Health and Wellness in downtown Houston. There he had the opportunity to treat many of the Houston Fit athletes as well as some of the premier Houston high school basketball players.
